Cookie Policy

Cookies, saved preferences and browser storage on the DIGITPOL testing suite.

Applies to digitpol-pentesting.com.

1. Cookies and similar storage

Cookies are small values stored by your browser and sent with relevant requests. Local storage persists in your browser until removed; session storage is associated with a browser tab session. This policy covers all three when used by digitpol-pentesting.com.

2. Sign in and functional preferences

Account services use local storage to maintain your sign in session, including authentication tokens. The storage key is specific to the account service. Session tokens are refreshed or expire according to the account service; removing them normally signs you out.

The dp-currency local storage entry remembers your EUR or USD preference until you change it or clear website data. A sidebar_state cookie may be set when the collapsible sidebar control is used. It remembers whether the sidebar is open and has a seven day lifetime.

3. Visit monitoring

The dp_sid session storage entry identifies a browser tab session for website visit monitoring. It is created when a page loads and normally lasts for that tab session. Monitoring records visited paths, referrer, IP address, approximate country and browser information, and may associate visits with your account when signed in.

These records support security monitoring, network blocking and website usage review. The current site does not provide a separate consent or preference switch for this monitoring. Deleting browser storage does not delete visit records already received by the service. Contact [email protected] with questions or an objection to the associated processing.

4. External services

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives network information when fonts are requested. Stripe payment pages and external sites may set their own cookies or storage, governed by their policies. The application code does not include Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or advertising pixels; hosting providers may maintain their own operational records.

5. Your browser controls

You can review or remove cookies, local storage and session storage through your browser's website data settings. You can also block storage, but sign in and saved preferences may stop working. Private browsing generally removes stored website data when the private session ends.

Browser controls do not remove records already stored in our systems. See the Privacy Policy for your rights and contact Digitpol BV at [email protected] for assistance. Any additional storage that requires consent must be assessed and enabled only with the required consent controls.

6. Policy scope

This policy describes the suite's current storage practices. We update it when those practices change. Translations are provided for convenience; the English version prevails.
